Motorola Settings

Setting up Motorola phones

(Note: This page provides the settings for phones on the Orange, o2, Vodafone and T-Mobile networks. If you are a BT Mobile, Tesco Mobile or Virgin user, please use the settings from the previous page instead.)

1. On your phone's main menu, select the middle-right option 'WebAccess'.

2. Scroll right down to the end of the list and select 'Web Sessions'.

3. If there already exists an 'Http' or 'Internet' or 'Mobileweb' option for your mobile network, then select it and press your Back button twice to return to your phone's main menu. If you don't have such a setting, or they do not seem to function, then do the following:

4. Highlight '[New Entry]' and press 'Select'.

5. Highlight 'Name' and press 'Change'.

6. Using the following table, enter the appropriate name and press 'Continue'.

7. Highlight 'Homepage', press 'Change', then enter the following depending on which network you are on :

8. Highlight 'Service Type 1', press 'Change', highlight the following depending on which network you are on, then press 'Select':

9. Highlight 'Gateway IP 1', press 'Change', then enter the following depending on which network you are on:

10. Highlight 'Port 1', press 'Change', then enter the following depending on which network you are on before pressing 'OK':

11. Scroll down and highlight 'Timeout', press 'Change', then select the following depending on which network you are on':

12. Highlight 'CSD No. 1', press 'Change', then enter the following depending on which network you are on before pressing 'OK':

14. Highlight 'Password 1', press 'Change', then enter the following depending on which network you are on before pressing 'OK':

15. Highlight 'Speed (Bps) 1', press 'Change' and select '9600'.

16. Highlight 'Line Type 1', press 'Change' and select 'ISDN'.

17. Scroll down and highlight 'GPRS APN', press 'Change', then enter the following depending on which network you are on, before pressing 'OK':

18. Highlight 'User Name', press 'Change', then enter the following depending on which network you are on, before pressing 'OK':

19. Highlight 'Password', press 'Change', then enter the following depending on which network you are on, before pressing 'OK':

20. Now press 'Done'.

21. Once the confirmation message has disappeared, highlight your new Web Session, press your phone's 'options' button and select 'Set Default'.

22. When the confirmation message disappears, press 'Exit' and then 'Back'.
